Set up and Locate the Security Administrator

Set up an individual as a Security Administrator or find who is currently a SecurityAdministrator.




Eaglesoft - Setup an individual as a security administrator in the office or find who is currently a security administrator.

Environment:
  • Eaglesoft Versions 15 and Above
Procedure:

Setup a Provider/Staff Member with Security Administrator Access

  1. Log into Eaglesoft as the current Security Administrator.

    1. On the Logon Screen, click the drop down arrow next to Provider.
    2. Choose the Security Administrator or the provider's name that is in bold letters.
      • Any provider whose name shows in bold letters acts as a Security Administrator.

  2. Go to Lists | Providers/Staff.
    1. If you logged in as the 'Security Administrator' and not as a provider who is a security administrator, the system will take you directly to the Providers/Staff list.

  3. Select the appropriate person from the Providers/Staff List. Select the Edit option located at the bottom

  4. Select the Security button that is located to the right.

  5. Select Administrator option from the Current Security Profile drop-down list.

    The Assign Provider Security option is selected by default when selecting the Administrator Security Profile.

  2. Go to Lists | Providers/Staff.
    • If you logged in as the 'Security Administrator' and not as a provider who is a security administrator, the system will take you directly to the Providers/Staff list

  3. Select the appropriate person from the Providers/Staff List. Select the Edit option located at the bottom

  4. Select the Security button that is located to the right.

  5. Select Provider from the Show Security Zone drop-down list.

  6. Scroll down the list of activities to locate the Assign Provider Security item.

Locate the Security Administrator

The security administrator will be listed one of two ways:

  1. Listed as the Security Administrator in provider drop-down list on the Logon Screen.
    • A Security Administrator is listed when no other individual has access to assign provider security.

  2. An individual listed in bold letters in the provider drop-down list on the Logon Screen.
