A Virtual Private Network, or VPN for short, extends a private network (e.g. Your Office Network) across a public network (e.g. The Internet). It enables users to send and receive data across the private network as if their devices were directly connected to that private network.

Using a VPN in your Office allows employees to securely access the Office Network while traveling outside the Office. It will allow them to use YAPI just like they would from within the Office.

Setting up a VPN for YAPI

  1. Contact your IT company to set up a VPN on your network.

  2. Once the VPN has been set up you will need to configure the iPad, iPhone, and other devices to connect to that VPN. Your IT can help you do this as well.

  3. Start using YAPI wherever you go!
